My Suitcase

Want to see my suitcase?

At first, it was boring blue, without all the pretty pictures on it. I hated that blue, but there was a massive sale at Strandbags, and that was the cheapest. Then it struck me. Get some fabric paint and paint it. I told Mum and she said it had to be something I'd like until I was an adult, because of how good the suitcase was.

I did my research and found that it would be easier to use stencils. Then I asked Dad what paint to use and he said acrylic.

Anyway, after pressing so hard with the stanley knife, and getting a really sore finger, I started painting. The finished product?...

A bird, a flower, and a vine. I've still got to do a few more layers...

I was bored waiting for the pain to dry, so I painted "Spread your WIngs" next to the bird. When I told Mum, she said it was really suitabble, because I'm spreading my wings, exploring new places.

The purple vine and the yellow flower are there because they are me and I like that sort of stuff.

On the back, I decided to keep a log of where the suitcase went with me. The Opera House is the only place on the back so far. Yes, the picture is a bit smudged *look guiltily around*.

If you want to know how to decorate your suitcase, just ask :)

In other news...

I GOT A PHONE! It's my parents old Motorola, but it still takes photos, and well, IT'S A PHONE! I think I convinced my by saying that my sister was bawling her eyes out becasue my parents were late to pick us up for school aafter going out on a boat during the day, and possibly sinking. Only my sister wasn't bawling her eyes out, nor was she worried. If I had a phone I could have called them to see if they were okay. Yes, I emphasized a little, but hey, it worked!

And yesterday, we went shopping, "Sydney Shopping",  which bores me incredibly. I bought 5 peices of clothing, which is the most I've ever bought at once. 3 of the 5 items were "Dream Out Loud" by Selena Gomez. I think I have a new favourite brand...

And most importantley, thanks a heap Kiki and Posey for following ^.^

What I've Been Doing Lately

First, the reason I haven't been blogging at all in the last month or so.

I have had Homework. That is the reason. But it was fun homework and it was for extension class.

I had to build my dream home!

These are taken with my mum's iPhone, so please excuse the poor lighting and quality :)

Let me take you on a tour of my 5 bed 4 bath dream home :)

The front of the house. Sorry for the poor lighting. and mess in the background. I shoved everything aside.

Welcome to my house. This is the front. The balcony has 3 doors leading from the front bedrooms. My dream home is like a mini mansion. .

Welcome to the first floor. On the first floor, there is a triple garage, a theatre and a guest wing (or as Dad calls it, the maid's quarters). There is a massive open living area.

There are big 3 meter high french/concertina doors that let you "open up the wall" to the outside. The east facing wall is the back wall and is made mostly of glass.

the first floor.
the big glass wall without the roof or the second floor.
my awesome massive french doors.

There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor as well as a kitchen and two bathrooms.. Most important to my design is the big void area. On the second floor, there is a balcony looking down to the first floor and an inaccessible area. The kitchen has a dumwaiter to get food from the kitchen on floor one to the kitchen on floor two or vice versa.

the second floor.

To the exterior, my house has a sloped roof, with a two meter slope. It has a pool that's 10m by 3m and big french doors.

By far the best Extension class couse I've ever done. What does your dream home include?

P.S. Over the last couple of days I seemed to have gained 5 EXTRA FOLLOWERS! That is a lot to me guys. So thankyou so much Teddy2Tie, Kristen, pppookie, Random Rawr and thunderstar

Design News

Hi Guys. What's up? Yes, I know I've been a bad awful blogger lately. I'm still alive and well and the aliens havn't kidnapped me yet. Anyway, I've been thinking about some stuff and I've decided that I don't want to do graphic design for peoples anymore, but because I love making backgrounds, I will still make them and post them on this blog as freebies. Do you think I should post them on this blog or forget it all together? Vote on the poll on the left.

Coming up in about a week, the reason I havn't been blogging.

Again, sorry for not blogging :)

A Good Bloggy Buddy is BACK! and My New Favourite Take-away

Guess who it is that's back? Yes!! OLIVE TREE!! As most of you know, a few months ago she left the blogging world. Anyway, cutting a long story short, SHE"S BACK!! I love her posts, her creativity, and her kindness. Welcome back Olive Tree :) You can visit her blog @ (of) Horsefeathers

Anyway, to lengthen out this post, I will tell you about my adventures today. This weekend, being a long weekend, obviously meant we have no school today. And last night, my sister went for a sleepover at her friends house, so this morning we picked her and her friend up and jumped on our boat. We went to a nearby island for basically just lunch. Tomorrow I can tell my friends we went to __________ (can't say the name of the island though. The thought of stalkers is a little bit creepy.) just for lunch :P Back to my day though. I had Subway, instead of the usual pie I get. And it's official. Subway is better than Hungry Jacks (remember I'm in Aus), KFC (Which is disgusting), Fish and Chips, and every other Take-Away/Fast Food ever. And it's healthier, not to mention yummier. I wasn't paid to advertise this. Just thought you'd want to know.

My sister thought we'd see someone from school there, and she was right. It was a boy in my class and a girl in my brothers class. Pointless, yes, but my sister would be happy I told everyone she was right :P

Well BYE!! <3

Can't stop playing/listening to: Kiss and Tell by Selena Gomez, I just discovered it
Wants to tell you: OLIVE TREE IS BACK!!! YIPPEEE!! But you probably already know that from my post :)

Yesterday...

I sprained my middle finger. Well that wasn't yesterday. That was Friday. I tried to take a pic of how swollen and puffy it was compared to my other finger to show you, but that was a bit hard. My mouth isn't big enough to hold the camera  :P How you ask? At basketball training, I jabbed my finger on the ball. Owww.

Yesterday... (now I will actually tell you about yesterday) my parents and some friends went on a wine trail, to different wineries. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though, because I had a good book, which I nearly finished, and my ipod, with 1 of my new favourite song on it. I wished I had 3 of my favourite songs, but I ran out of time to download them. I also wished I had a camera, because there were extraordinary views of the city looking west. It was SOO pretty. I could see everything. We went on this walk around the bushland at the place we stopped at for morning tea, and it was downhill, and you guessed it. My legs were stiff and sore after I walked back up.

We went to two wineries, then to another winery for lunch. I had chicken nuggets and chips from the kids menu. So did everyone else(well, the kids, not the adults). The adults had this REALLY yummy brie cheese and (I think) pumpkin soup. It was interesting watching the planes fly overhead, then make a sharp right turn to land at the airport. We were there for about 2 hours. By now, mum had probably bought enough wine :P We headed to a fruit and veg place, then to an icecream place, which made their own icecream. Caramel and Cream is YUMMM. Does icecream make anyone else cough?

BYE!!

Currently obsessing over: the thing where you can add lyrics to songs on iTunes. I think I spent about an hour adding lyrics to all the songs in my faves playlist.
Currently reading: Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden. LUVE it :)
Can't stop listening to/playing: California Gurls by Katy Perry
Song Stuck in my head: California Gurls, just like above. You could travel the world But nothing comes close to the golden coast. da da da :)

Wants to tell you: Wine trails are fun when you have a good book :)

P.S. Yes, I know about the mistake on my header. I'll get around to fixing it as soon as I'm on the right computer :)
